Is the RME Babyface Pro FS still the best option for Apple Silicon MacBooks? I read a while ago that the driver installation can be quite tricky to install a kext file, is that still the case?
I have had the original version of this the RME Babyface Pro since it was released. Yes, the kext install process can be a bit awkward the first time, but once you have done it it’s a simple process to repeat if you ever need to. RME have the installation guide with the steps and associated pictures to help you through the process.
The first RME audio interface I had was the RME DIGI 96/8 PAD way back in the early 2000s. It was such a great card with excellent audio quality, when I buy an interface it is always from RME.
